Construction Management
The National Center provides construction management services tailored to school districts undertaking complex modernization and new construction projects. We support all phases of a project—from planning and design through construction and closeout—ensuring alignment with budget, schedule, and regulatory requirements.
Our approach combines hands-on facilities expertise with executive-level leadership and governance support. With more than 40 years and more than a half of a billion dollars project experience in school facilities and construction, our team brings practical knowledge of building systems, constructability, and site operations. This allows us to proactively manage risk, reduce change orders, and ensure projects are both efficient to build and sustainable to maintain.
A key focus of our work is long-term value. We incorporate lifecycle cost considerations, deferred maintenance planning, and operational efficiency into every project, helping districts avoid costly future repairs.
We also support district leadership and Boards by aligning projects with strategic priorities, assisting with funding strategies, and providing clear, consistent communication throughout the process.
Our goal is to deliver safe, cost-effective, and sustainable learning environments while protecting the District’s financial resources over time.

Six Working Genius
The 6 Types of Working Genius, developed by Patrick Lencioni, is a powerful framework designed to help teams identify their unique strengths and improve collaboration. It categorizes individuals into six distinct types: Genius of Wonder (W), who excels at brainstorming and generating new ideas; Genius of Discernment (D), skilled at evaluating ideas and making informed decisions; Genius of Completion (C), who thrives on implementing and executing plans; and Genius of Enablement (E), who provides the support and encouragement necessary for success. Understanding these roles helps teams leverage each member’s strengths, streamline workflow, and achieve greater results. The consultants delivering this training are certified by Patrick Lencioni, ensuring a high level of expertise and authenticity in applying the model to drive team performance.
